It's hard to go to your local hardware store and get consistant washers to do the SCAR mod on your VTX1300.  We now have your answer with the Goheen Cycles with out Jet Needle Shim Kit!  Made out of 18-8 Stainless Steel right here in the United States with a tolerance of 1/1000 or less for a consist tune.  These washers are also a perfect addition to a stage 3 adjustable needed to get 1/2 notch settings.
